History
Nestled in the beautiful wine country of Northern California, Sonoma Skypark is a small privately-owned, public-use general aviation airport located about 3 miles due South of the town of Sonoma. We host a monthly Young Eagles Program at Sonoma Skypark. Young Eagles is an international program that was launched by the EAA in 1992 to give young people (from 8 to 18) an opportunity to learn about and get involved with aviation by taking a free flight in a general aviation airplane. Young eagles flights at Skypark take place on the second Sunday of every month from 9am to Noon.
