History

Showcase Music Institute (SMI) is Guitar Showcase's music instruction program, and we've been around for almost as long as Showcase itself - i.e., over 50 years! Founded by Jim Bruno, a talented San Jose musician known for his work in Stickband, the program offers students of all ages the opportunity to refine their craft.
