The Santa Barbara Metro Transit system currently has 27 transit routes and has 851 bus stops. It covers approximately 52 square miles in the southern area of Santa Barbara County and encompasses the communities of Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, Montecito, Summerland and Isla Vista.
