The founder of the Agency, Peter Loi Chang, started working as an agent in 1982 in San Francisco at a property and casualty insurance agency owned by Transamerica Insurance Corporation at that time. In 1985 he started his own agency in Oakland under the name of Pleasant Insurance Agency. Since then we have been providing our pleasant service to consumers throughout the greater Bay Area and beyond. We grow as our clients grow. In some cases we are proud to be the insurance agents for all three generations of the same family.
