Powell's Sweet Shoppe is located on Mt. Diablo Boulevard. The first Powell's opened in 2003, when founder Michael Powell decided it would be nice to have a candy shop that reminded people of their childhood and was a part of the community. Zeina & Nabil Hissen loved the original shop in Windsor so much that they decided to open their own franchise in Lafayette. Powell's carries ice cream, candy, lunch pails and a lot more.
