Royal NoneSuch Gallery is an artist-run alternative art and community event space located in the Temescal district of Oakland, California. Our mission is to create a space where community building and art based experiences are innovative, inclusive, and educational. Borrowed from the crafty theater troupe in Mark Twain's novel Huckleberry Finn, Royal NoneSuch Gallery was named in the spirit of participation, interaction, and art making of all kinds. The space serves the purpose of providing experiences beyond passive entertainment and aims to create an atmosphere, whether in exhibitions, workshops, or events, that is fun and dynamic. Visitors to Royal NoneSuch can expect to see, hear, touch, taste, learn, and participate.
