The Riverside Water Quality Control Plant, also known as RWQCP, offers a range of sewer services for more than 275,000 residents of the City of Riverside in California. The plant works to provide safe and pure water. It is responsible for the protection the Santa Ana River s environment. The plant operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Riverside Water Quality Control Plant employs a staff of over 100 people. The plant maintains nearly 1,100 miles of sewer pipeline. It is also responsible for the collection of residential, commercial and industrial waste. The Riverside Water Quality Control Plant maintains wastewater treatment and filtration plants.
