The Riverside County Office of Education, also known as RCOE, has been serving more than 420,000 students throughout Riverside County, Calif., for over 115 years. It offers alternative, special and vocational educational programs in collaboration with the Inland Counties Developmental Disabilities Services, Riverside County Mental Health and Riverside County Probation for nearly 35,000 students annually. With approximately 2,000 employees, the office maintains an office of superintendent and various divisions. It provides various federal- and state-funded child care and early education programs that focus on preparation for entrance into public school for children from disadvantaged and underserved families. The Riverside County Office of Education maintains an office in Indio, Calif.
