Ritter Park consists mainly of a huge grass field anchored by a baseball diamond and is surrounded by Lum Elementary and Will C. Wood Middle Schools. It is often used by the local little league baseball teams and both the Alameda soccer and pee-wee football teams.

McCartney Park

McCartney is a small park behind Washington Elementary School. It has two jungle gym areas, one of which the school uses during recess. The park also has a grassy area and two backstops for playing baseball or softball. A paved asphalt pathway runs from one side of the park to the other between the playground areas. Open basketball courts line one side of the park.
