Red Hill Country Club is located beneath the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. A private member-owned club, Red Hill Country Club was established in 1921. Legendary golf course architect George C. Thomas designed the club. Following World War II, William P. Bell completed Thomas' plan for creating a championship course with the addition of the back nine holes. Red Hill Country Club could be considered the older brother to other Southern California clubs designed by Thomas: Los Angeles, Riviera and Bel Air Country Clubs.
