This business segment started in 1993 when a recession seriously affected the real estate industry. After having worked with institutional investors for many years, we felt we could help them with problem properties. So we provide a seamless system to serve as receivers during the foreclosure process, and, in many cases, our brokerage company is retained following the foreclosure to provide property management, leasing, and seller brokerage services. There are no tie-ins and each service is provided on its own merits and client needs. We have handled hundreds of cases and millions of square feet of real estate properties. We have also served as a partition referee to dispose or liquidate property involved in a dispute, and have also touched on family law and probate property also in dispute.
