Home to more than 2,000 different types of native California plants, the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden is a living laboratory for students, the public and the scientific community.
The Garden was originally established in Orange County by Susanna Bixby Bryant, who donated 200 acres of her ranch. The Garden relocated in 1951 and associated itself with the Claremont Colleges. It is now home to the Claremont Graduate University's botany program and offers scenic tours with rolling mountain vistas to the general public every day.
Beautifully nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains, the Garden boasts a living collection for study and appreciation, a native nursery for home-grown advice and a seed conservation program to ensure the preservation of California's natural habitats for future generations.
