Holland Elementary School
Established in 1848, Holland Public Schools is a school district that operates a Class A high school, a middle school for grades six through eight, a school for kindergarten through grade eight, a school for grades four and five, four schools for kindergarten through grade three and one early childhood center. The district has a staff of approximately 330 teachers who provide academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, speech, vocabulary, English, math, science, physical education, history and social science. In addition, it provides a spectrum of other programs, including art, music, athletics, theater, forensics, Spanish, special education and English as a second language. The district provides food, health and transportation services to students and organizes various extracurricular events. Holland Public Schools is located in Holland, Mich.
