The Mount Laguna Improvement Association (MLIA) has been serving the Mount Laguna cabin owners since 1935, originally formed to create a water delivery system for all cabins. Over the years, MLIA has expanded its services to cabin owners and the Laguna Mountain community, building good working relationships with the US Forest Service and educating cabin owners on Forest Service policies. MLIA also sponsors social events and has started the award-winning Fire Safe Council to disseminate fire safety information and techniques. With a commitment to providing high-quality water and improving access roads, MLIA is a vital community organization that aims to ensure the safety and enjoyment of owning a cabin in the Laguna Mountains.
