Project Sentinel is a nonprofit agency that assists people with housing problems. In the complicated housing market, when discrimination based on socioeconomic status, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age, gender or other physical characteristics arises, Project Sentinel provides legal advice to those who feel they have been discriminated against.
Counseling services are also available to tenants as well as landlords. Mediation can take place should both parties wish to resolve an issue.
The Redwood City Office is Project Sentinel's administrative center, housing the executive director, controller, Fair Housing director and staff executing federal and state programs. Redwood City serves as the lead office for the agency's Fair Housing programs, setting policy and orchestrating activities.
