Casa de Oro Baptist Church, led by Pastor Ron Barnes, sits high above the Casa de Oro community on Madrid Road. It was established in 1948. All are welcome to come to the weekly worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings and Awana gatherings on Wednesdays for kids and teens. The church serves the community by providing many social service groups a place to meet. In addition, the church offers family Christian karate classes at its facility, and its members give to a food pantry, where needy people and families can select items.
