Alan Tam is so well- known as a top-notch car mechanic that his shop on Montgomery Avenue doesn't even display its name. Customers know where Tam is and regularly rely on him to solve their car problems and treat them fairly and honestly. Tam has been at the current location since 2008, but had previously spent 12 years on nearby San Mateo Avenue. Prior to that, the 20-year veteran of the business worked as a Lexus meachinic.
