POOR Magazine is a grassroots, non-profit arts organization based in San Francisco, CA. Led by poor and Indigenous people, their mission is to provide revolutionary media access, art, education, and advocacy to silenced youth, adults, and elders living in poverty across the globe.
Through their various programs, including Roofless Radio, Sliding Scale Cafe, Poverty Journalism Workshop, and Homefulness the World, POOR Magazine aims to create access for marginalized voices, preserve and degentrify communities of color, and reframe the conversation around poverty, landlessness, indigenous resistance, disability, and race.
