Adult and Career Education provides a variety of educational, vocational and career information programs to high schools. The center offers assessment, career counseling, job training and retraining, general educational development, adult basic education, financial aid and assessment services. It also provides job referral and placement, English as a Second Language, vocational training, job readiness workshop and current job market information. It is a part of the Pomona Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The Pomona Unified School District has been operational since 1954 and serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. Adult and Career Education is located in Pomona, Calif.
