Pleasanton Partnerships In Education Foundation (PPIE) is a nonprofit organization established in 1987. The foundation supports the Pleasanton School District through its grants program, which funds enrichment projects at schools. Teachers and students groups can apply for grants in the fall and spring. The foundation raises funds for its program through individual and business contributions, in addition to hosting annual fund-raising events. In 2009, the foundation partnered with parent groups to create the I Love Pleasanton Schools campaign, which helped raise approximately $400,000. In 2010, the foundation, the Pleasanton Unified School District and parent groups launched the CORE campaign with the goal of raising about $950,000 for schools.
