Located in Los Angeles, Pico Rebuilt is one of the facilities that is developed under the public housing program of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. The public housing program includes more than 8,000 housing units that provide affordable housing to over 20,000 low-income families and individuals in Los Angeles. The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles manages more than 60 public housing locations. It operates conventional public housing, rental assistance and property management programs. The housing authority also manages more than 1,600 senior housing units. Its resident relation department provides educational development, employment training, and job placement and retention services.
