History
I started Phoenix Song Music in 2006 as a way to help your free your voice and life. My journey has been incredibly healing and joyful as I have opened to my own creative expression. I was featured in San Francisco Magazine's Best of the Bay for yoga music in 2009. I offer all the tools and resources I have picked up along the way including breath work in didgeridoo and singing; world rhythms in my years of training on tabla, Arabic tambourine, djembe, and cajon; expressive arts including movement, drawing, writing, and sounding during my 3 years at Tamalpa Institute; Somatic Voicework in the LoVetri Method; circle singing with Bobby McFerrin; drama therapy at Living Arts Counseling Center; writing with Ann Randolph and improv with Joshua Townshend Zellner; dhrupad classical voice with the Gundecha Brothers, and Sanskrit mantra, chanting and sound meditations through my 3 years of studying Indian classical music in India and time living at Yoga Society of SF
