History
Dr. Sharon Avant started working at 971 Pacific Street circa 1998. Dr. Appelin joined the practice in 2011. Dr. Avant and Dr. Appelin practiced together for a number of years and expanded Pacific Endodontics footprint with a Salinas location in 2016. Dr. Avant has since retired and Dr. Appelin has been working happily with his eye on improving the technology offered in the practices. The addition of 3D imaging and Gentlewave Technology has made this last year the most exciting so far!

The Dentists of Pacific Endodontics are all Root Canal Specialists or in a single word Endodontists. Unlike general dentists that offer root canal, an Endodontist has limited their practice to performing only root canal therapy and associated surgical procedures.
