The Orinda Chamber of Commerce is located at 26 Orinda Way, adjacent to the Orinda Historical Society and the new Orinda Library. The Chamber shares offices with The Orinda News and the Orinda Association. Chartered as a non-profit corporation in 1952, the chamber is managed by a board of directors which meets monthly to set policy and organize programs intended to promote commerce and good business practices in the city. The chamber boasts a membership of more than 200 business professionals representing nearly every facet of business in the city, from financial services to the neighborhood pharmacy. It hosts a steady lineup of mixers and social events tailored to owners of businesses both large and small, instilling a sense of fellowship and facilitating the free exchange of ideas within the business community.
