The Borges family settled in Walnut Creek in 1899, and their ranch is now on the National Register of Historic Places. They offer tours of the 1901 house and the 1903 carriage barn. Reservations are not required, except for a group of five or more. Call Ranger Bylin at 925-943-5899, ext. 2162 for more information.
