Established in 1955, Orange County ARC is a California-based, nonprofit public benefit corporation that serves more than 700 adults with developmental disabilities. It serves individuals in central and northern Orange County in California. The corporation offers vocational training, employment and placement services. It also provides independent living skills development solutions, as well as a range of recreational activities. With annual revenues of over $8 million, the corporation manages a staff of nearly 130 employees. It is a member of the Orange County United Way and offers packaging and assembly products for ConAgra Foods, Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Body Glove International. The corporation is funded by the California Department of Developmental Services. Orange County ARC manages an approximately 55,000-square-foot facility.
