Specialties
A MakerSpace is a physical location where people gather to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, share ideas, and build; like a community center with tools. The Mountie MakerSpace is a 4,000-square-foot building outfitted for projects in woodworking, metalworking, digital fabrication and other disciplines. It has a strong culture of sharing ideas, helping one another to explore new ideas and methods, and supporting the principle that failure of a design does not mean a Maker is inadequate or incompetent, because we all have failed; it's a step along the path to success. We are aggressively inclusive, even if a member is inexperienced.
