National University is the second-largest private, nonprofit university in the state, and the Sacramento campus is one of 29 throughout California and Nevada. This campus, which opened in 1982, offers certificates, bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in business and management, education, engineering and technology, health and human services, and general studies.
National University is based on a one-class-per-month format, and weekend, evening and online classes are available. Each year for the past 10 years, National University has prepared more teachers for credentialing than any other single institution in California.
