The Music Box was built in 1926 as Hollywood's main theater to show the film's industry newest craze, "talkies." For 80 years, the large venue has seen many changes, until eight years ago when a full renovation returned it to its original glory. Today, The Music Box, with its incredible art deco architecture and state-of-the-art sound system, houses a huge variety of acts, from well-known artists such as Stevie Wonder and Green Day to up-and-coming indie acts like Animal Collective and The XX.
