History
Midpen Media operated as Cable Channel 6 in 1990. At that time, volunteers drove around and collected videotapes from the community to put on local TV. For the first time, local folks were given the chance to create and view local origination content. Fast forward to now. Midpen operates 5 cable access TV channels and contributes programming to a regional channel. We have a full service HD TV Studio and HD equipment that everyone can learn to use in order to create videos about topics important to them. Midpen Media is a non-profit, grass roots media center where everyone is welcome. Our station is part of a network of 3000 independent public access TV stations across America.
