History
McP's Irish Pub originated in Coronado, California in 1982 by former Navy Seal, Greg McPartlin. In 1989, General Contractor Pete Joseph met Greg McPartlin. Pete began doing contracting work at the Coronado McPs location and they quickly became friends and business partners. The two opened McP's Pub Tahoe opened in 1992 at the Old Bella Union Restaurant (now heavenly village) After nearly nine successful years, McPs was closed in 2001 to make way for the development of the Heavenly Village and Gondola. Without missing a beat, McPs purchased the location directly across the street and opened immediately and remained there until it's recent closure in May 2014 as part of the Chateau project. We reopened in the Chateau at Statline and boosted our size to a beautiful 6000 sq ft. with a large patio, fire pits, 20 big screen TVs, 40 beers on tap, and a private banquet room!
