Mariposa Montessori School is a preschool located in Los Gatos serving families from Saratoga, Campbell and San Jose. The school offers practical life, math, sensory, language and cultural arts instruction to children ages 2-6 who work and learn by themselves with teachers as guides. The school also offers circle time to help children learn to work in a group. Children can snack whenever they want during instruction time, allowing them to be in charge of their needs. Children can be dropped off beginning at 9:05am. The school uses the Maria Montessori education method, which consists of helping children adapt to their physical and social world. The school offers two-day, three-day and five-day instruction programs with extended care.
