Mari was mentored by her father from the age of 18 in the art of Ishizaka Ryu a Japanese lineage of Acupuncture focusing on the points along the spine and viewing the spine as the deep root system that nourishes and is the basis of all life and health in the body She has been practicing healing arts since 2003 with a background in Jin Shin Jitsu and Acupressure for emotional healing, Tui Na Massage, and Usui Reiki. Mari utilizes such methods as Acupuncture, Cupping and moving Cupping, Massage, Moxibustion, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and powerful TCM Essential Oils and Electro-Acupuncture Medicine. She earned a Masters of Science in Asian Medicine from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley in 2009 and has been integrating Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine into her practice ever since.
