Lynbrook High School is a coeducational, public four-year secondary school located in San Jose, Calif. The high school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Fremont Union High School District. It comprises freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes. Its curriculum comprises subjects, such as social studies, art, science, English, Math, foreign languages, newspaper publication, music, physical education and computer science. The school also provides special education to students with special needs. Lynbrook has a football field with a dirt track around it, a swimming pool and a small baseball field. The high school's swimming pool has nine lanes and devotes about half of its area to nonlane-divided deep water areas used mainly for water polo competitions. Founded in 1965, Lynbrook High School is approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
