Loyola High School of Los Angeles is a private institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and offers subjects, such as math, English, United States history, business, technology, social studies, science, music, art, and health and physical education. The institution is a Jesuit preparatory school for young men and is named in honor of St. Ignatius of Loyola who founded the Jesuits in the 16th century. Located in Los Angeles, the institution is one of the oldest high schools in southern California. Loyola High School of Los Angeles is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association.
