Portrait and session photography can be extremely awkward for the client, and this is the last thing that it should be; to capture the natural essence of a person on the camera, which is what photographs that stand the test of time should capture, the subject needs to be relaxed, comfortable, and in their element. My mission in photography is to put aside awkwardness and self-consciousness to capture a real moment of life; not something staged or artificial.
