Established in 1915, Culver City Julian Dixon Library provides a range of educational materials for adults and children in English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese. It has more than 200,000 books, over 300 magazines and newspaper subscriptions. The library also has a collection of videocassette, audiocassette and CDs. Culver City Julian Dixon Library offers telephone directories, college catalogs, pamphlets and topographic maps. In addition, it serves as a fiction library for the County Public Library. The library also maintains federal and state documents. Culver City Julian Dixon Library provides access to the Internet and has a meeting room that accommodates nearly 70 individuals. It is a part of the County of Los Angeles Public Library, which is one of the largest libraries in the United States.
