The Livermore Municipal Airport is owned and operated by the City of Livermore. It is a General Aviation Airport, which serves private, business and corporate tenants and customers. The 644-acre airport has two parallel runways: a 5,253-feet lighted main runway and a 2,700-feet unlighted training runway.
Other features inlcude 24 city-owned buildings; aircraft storage shelter; corporate-style hangar building; 45,000-gallon underground aviation fuel storage facility; 250 ramp tie-down aircraft parking spaces; and 600 based aircrafts.
The Air Traffic Control Tower is operated by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employees daily from 7am - 9pm.Source: City of Livermore
