Little Corona Marine Life Refuge, popularly known as "Little Corona del Mar Beach," is accessible through the corner of Poppy and Ocean avenues. The beach is a protected ecosystem and is a part of the Robert E. Badham State Marine Conservation Area; therefore visitors are not allowed to collect animals, rocks or shells from the tide pools or the sand beach. Tide Pool Exploration Programs are available to small and large groups interested in learning more about the protected habitat. In addition to the unique refuge, people can also visit Little Corona del Mar Beach to walk along the shore, exercise and enjoy the ocean.
