Lincoln Elementary School enrolls more than 520 students in kindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1959, it offers a range of academic subjects, such as reading, math, language arts, history, science and health education. The school runs the English Language Acquisition Program, which is a state-funded categorical program that provides supplemental support to English learners in grades four and five. It also offers Title I, tobacco-use prevention education, peer assistance and review, and gifted and talented education programs. Lincoln Elementary School s CHARACTER COUNTS! program imparts values of respect, citizenship, fairness, kindness and trustworthiness to students. Its campus includes a library, cafeteria, restrooms and more than 30 classrooms. The school s library has a computerized checkout system and stocks a range of books, magazines, newspapers and reference materials.
