La Luz Del Mundo Iglesia, or Light of the World Church, is a growing religion that originated in Mexican in 1926. The teachings are based upon primitive Christianity and is a heightened blend of Mexican mysticism and pentecostal beliefs. The church stands largely over 4th Street near downtown Redlands, in a beautiful brick building with a well manicured lawn. Services are daily at 5am, 9am and 6pm; as well as Sunday at 10am and 5pm. Two large wooden doors greet guests as they enter the classically decorated, warm and welcoming church. The interior is well kept, clean and accommodating for large groups.
