Since 1994, the Iron Works Gym has been a place for area residents and students to come work out in a professional environment. It is located in the College Center Shopping Plaza. Iron Works is a membership club with different price points for different blocks of time. The gym has good discounts for yearly memberships, but it also has discounted memberships for college students or for people who wish to book by the semester. There are also personal trainers who may be hired to get you started on a physical workout program. Iron Works has all of the latest equipment and a small area for group workouts and events. The staff is friendly, good looking and offers free advice on how to use the equipment. There is also a store section that sells workout attire, gear and nutritional supplements.
