Head instructor Nancy Kuo has 30 years of performing experience on the violin and viola and 20+ years of private teaching experience. She has experience teaching group violin lessons as well as experience in the public school setting. Her expertise lies in classical, improv, jazz, and fiddle at the beginning to intermediate levels (sonatas and concertos) as young as 5 years old to adult on violin, viola, cello, and keyboard. She has played weddings, bar mitzvahs, engagements, funerals and events and can create custom music whether that be classical, jazz, or an arrangement of a favorite song. Nancy is available as a coach for non-musical actors in authentic violin, viola and cello performance for commercial and television work, and is available for prep or entire shoots. Rates are by the hour and day rates.
