Dr. Parsa, a Southern California native, received her fellowship training under Dr. James Andrews, a world-renowned surgeon for sports injuries. She has also published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to further her experience in breakthrough progenitor cell research with Dr. Khay-Yong Saw at Kuala Lumpur Sports Medicine Centre.Graduating with honors from Western University of Health Sciences with her medical degree, Dr. Parsa also achieved the highest honors in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
