Las Lomas High School opened in 1951 in downtown Walnut Creek, the second campus to open in the top-ranking Acalanes Union High School District. The home of the Knights, Las Lomas has strong academic programs and a variety of sports teams and extracurricular activities. During the 2007-08 year, Las Lomas was named a National Blue Ribbon School. The principal is Matt Campbell.
