Established in 1955, Lake Hemet Municipal Water District is a public, nonprofit agency that provides potable water to residents of Hemet, San Jacinto and Garner Valley, Calif. The district's customers are represented by a publicly elected board of directors in more than four divisions, representing over 14,500 domestic and nearly 50 agricultural consumers. The district maintains Lake Hernet as a clean and safe water reservoir and recreational facility. Lake Hemet Municipal Water District offers a variety of services through its customer service, engineering and inspection departments. It provides an option of online bill payments. Additionally, Lake Hemet Municipal Water District also offers camping, fishing and boating services.
