Lake Elementary School is part of Vista Unified School District. The school serves children from pre-kindergarten through grade five. Students are in attendance from 7:50am to 2:42pm daily, except on Wednesdays, which is an early-out day; students are dismissed at 12:55pm. Teachers are on campus daily from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Breakfast is served daily from 7:25am to 7:45am.
The school has a before- and after-school program. The program provides childcare before school from 6am and after school until 6pm.
