La Crescenta Montessori is located in a bright building surrounded by trees on Foothill Boulevard. The school offers infant care, a toddler program, and pre-school through fifth grade instruction. Gail Amarasinghe has been the school director since 1989. The school follows the Montessori curriculum, which consists of Practical Life Exercises, Sensorial Exercises, math, language, social studies and science. Extended day care is available after the school day has ended.
