History
Prior to becoming an independent trainer, I was a Master Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. I left in 2014 to pursue a postgraduate degree in neuroscience. While my studies and research were interesting, my experience in grad school was stressful, and I became unhealthy. I returned to the Bay Area with a master's in neuroscience and a mission to become fit, healthy, and happy again. This journey spurred me back to personal training with newfound passion and understanding of what it takes to regain fitness, lose body fat, gain strength, and to feel like the best version of yourself.
Specialties
As a NASM certified personal trainer with a MS in neuroscience and a background in contemporary dance, I utilize my knowledge and creativity to tailor fitness programs unique to the individual and their goals. I am a proponent of a well-rounded fitness program, but I specialize in body fat reduction, strength and functional training, core strength, balance, and flexibility.
