History
The Koroneburg Renaissance Festival is California's only permanent renaissance site. The event runs from Mother's Day Weekend through Father's Day Weekend and Monday Memorial Day. The event features shopkeepers selling their wares, 5 stages of entertainment, a Joust, battle reenactment and daily parades. 13 life style encampments make presentations daily exhibiting lifestyle in the 1500's. The life style encampments are called guilds and include a German guild, Irish Guilds, English guilds, a bakers guild, French Guilds, Celtic Guilds, Spanish Guild and more. Their guilds are open to the guests and Guests are encouraged to participate in their daily activities. Over 500 costumed participants are in the Village. The jolly Baron Henrich Von Lauffer greets guests to his barony. The Koroneburg Village offers wedding facilities, group rates and online ticketing. Well behaved pets on leashes are always welcome.
